Grand National 2012 Result 1st. Neptune Collonges (33/1) 2nd. Sunnyhill Boy (16/1) 3rd. Seabass (8/1 jt. fav.) 4th. Cappa Bleu (16/1) I'm hoping that the name of this website - Grand National 2012 Runners - will give away exactly what you're going to find here. If it doesn't, then I'd question whether you really ought to be placing a bet on the race - or any horse race for that matter! You should probably just give the money to one of the equine charities (see links, left) which would be equally beneficial and far more rewarding! But let's assume the title was pretty descriptive and cut to the *cough* chase. On April 14th 2012, 40 runners will line up behind the tape at 4.15 on the famous Aintree course to compete for dosh in excess of £535,000. Not an altogether bad reward I'm sure you'll agree. But those 40 Grand National 2012 runners are from an original early-bird declarations and below you can see a list of the horses (with their current odds) currently earmarked for glory. Or not, as fate will decide in April. View All Grand National Runners 2012 » Grand National Runners & Latest Odds, 20th May, 2012 |

When and WhereThe Grand National, Aintree Racecourse, Saturday April 14th at 16:15 Grand National Info & HistoryThe Grand National 2012 Runners website also has some background on the Grand National for those of you who want to know more. I can't say it really helps when it comes to knowing which runners to fancy in the betting but there are some interesting odds 'n' sods in there. Like, did you know that during World War I, the Grand Natonal wasn't run at Aintree but at Gatwick Racecourse! It would be a bit difficult to do that now as the site became an airport in 1950! I've also whacked up a few historial Grand National results stretching back the last few years. I'd offer you some really meaningful tips too - except when it comes to horse racing I am what is known as a "mug punter" - I always go for long shots and my only chance of winning is in a sweepstake! So you're better off following your own judgement than listening to anything I have to say when it comes to having a punt on the gee gees! More information on the race is available on Betastic's Grand National pages.
